Job Overview

This position assumes responsibility for supervising the receiving area and freight elevator; maintains area safety, orderliness, and cleanliness; verifies licenses, insurances, and permits of all service providers and contractors through the management office; enforces parking regulations and rules and regulations of the Association. Good communication and customer service skills.

Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the receiving area office is never left unattended or unlocked.
  • Never permit the receiving area to be blocked.
  • Schedule freight elevator for residents moving in and out in advance, adhering to Association Policy.
  • Register all deliveries and packages (Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, registered mail).
  • Report all problems to the supervisor, including problems outside the scope of responsibility.
  • Issue parking passes to all approved vehicles.
  • Register and distribute s to all contractors.
  • Monitor the coming and going of service contractors and building repair and maintenance contractors through logs.
  • Complete required reports.
  • Requisition materials, tools, and supplies needed for the job.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
  • Maintain a safe work area.
  • Other duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multiple language fluency is desirable.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures.
  • Work in an upright standing position for long periods; be able to reach overhead; have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
  • Be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods; climb stairs, navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required.
  • Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 14 ft on A-frames and 21 ft on extension ladders).
  • Ability to work in different environmental conditions (heat, cold, wind,, humidity).
  • Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by spoken and written word.
  • Maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
Supervisory Responsibilities

None

Schedule

Tuesday‑Friday 11:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with a 30‑minute unpaid break.

Compensation

$18.58 per hour
