Position: Racebook Ticket Writer - Part Time (Casino Miami)

William Hill U.S., America's leading sports book provider, has immediate openings at its sports book. If you love interacting with the public and thrive in a fast‑paced work environment, this role may be for you.

Reporting to the Sports book Manager, you will be the face of our retail operation. By providing a high level of customer service to both regulars and novice bettors, you will ensure everyone feels welcome at our sports book and that they can make informed, responsible wagering decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver top‑tier customer service that encourages repeat patronage.
  • Adhere to all company policies and gaming control board regulations, avoiding penalties.
  • Become familiar with our betting options and actively engage customers in discussions.
  • Resolve customer disputes or complaints and, when necessary, escalate issues to the direct supervisor.
  • Collaborate positively with teammates and leadership.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation in accordance with company policy and gaming control board standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and some holidays).
  • Basic computer proficiency (Email, MS Excel, internet).
  • Minimum of one year of cash‑handling experience in a work setting.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred).
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to obtain a gaming license from the Gaming Control Board and other jurisdictions if required.
  • High level of customer service orientation.
  • Professional presentation at all times.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Commitment to comply with all company and gaming control board regulations.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift, pull, or push 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to write for extended periods and bend or reach as required.
