Production Supervisor for Live Events (AV)
Pay: $30.00–$40.00 per hour after training

Production Supervisors are the leaders responsible for bringing entire productions together. From coordinating technicians and communicating with clients to overseeing setup, execution, and breakdown, Supervisors ensure every event meets Miami Sound Rental’s standards for professionalism and excellence.
This position combines technical knowledge, leadership skills, customer service, and decision‑making under pressure.

- Lead assigned productions from warehouse preparation through event completion
- Coordinate, supervise, and support technicians throughout setup, execution, and breakdown
- Serve as the primary on‑site point of contact for clients, venues, and production partners
- Ensure productions are executed safely, professionally, on schedule, and according to company standards
- Manage labor resources, task delegation, and team accountability on‑site
- Review event details, equipment requirements, timelines, and production logistics before each event
- Troubleshoot technical, logistical, and personnel challenges in real time
- Oversee the proper handling, transportation, organization, and protection of company equipment
- Ensure company vehicles, equipment, and work spaces are maintained professionally
- Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to technicians and future leaders
- Maintain clear communication with clients, warehouse staff, technicians, and company leadership
- Uphold Miami Sound Rental’s mission, culture, safety standards, and commitment to customer service excellence
- Take ownership of assigned productions and drive successful outcomes from start to finish
- Previous leadership, supervisory, management, or team leadership experience
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lead confidently in fast‑paced and high‑pressure environments
- Valid Driver’s License
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 85 lbs
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute throughout South Florida
- Strong sense of accountability, professionalism, integrity, and ownership
- Ability to make decisions quickly while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
- Comfortable learning company systems, technology, and operational procedures
- Experience in Audio Visual, Live Events, Production, Entertainment, Hospitality, Operations, Logistics, or Related Industries
- Experience leading crews, managing projects, coordinating operations, or supervising field teams
- Customer‑facing experience with high standards of service and professionalism
- Familiarity with audio, video, lighting, staging, LED walls, live streaming, or event production workflows
- Passion for leadership, live events, technology, and continuous professional development
