POSITIONSUMMARY
Concord Summit Capital is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join its growing structured finance team. This is a front-end, producer-track role designed for early-career professionals with exposure to commercial real estate finance who are eager to transition into full origination.
The Associate will support and progressively lead the sourcing, structuring, and execution of commercial real estate debt and equity transactions across multiple asset classes, including multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, industrial, and mixed-use properties. This role offers a clear path to a Director role based on production.
This position is ideal for candidates coming from an Analyst, Associate, or Junior Originator background at a capital markets, brokerage, structured finance, or investment banking platform who want real sales responsibility, direct deal exposure, and uncapped upside.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in sourcing and originating debt and equity transactions across multifamily, office, hospitality, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties.
- Support sponsor outreach, prospecting, and relationship-building efforts to identify new financing opportunities.
- Participate actively in outbound business development, including cold calling, email outreach, and industry networking.
- Develop and maintain relationships with real estate sponsors, developers, and private and institutional capital sources to understand client needs and deliver tailored financing solutions.
- Build and manage a growing personal pipeline of sponsor relationships and live transactions.
- Support the structuring and closing of debt and equity transactions across a variety of capital structures, including senior debt, bridge loans, mezzanine financing, preferred equity, and JV equity.
- Assist in managing the full transaction lifecycle from origination through closing, including negotiation support, structuring, and documentation coordination.
- Coordinate due diligence efforts, third-party reports, and lender/investor communication.
- Collaborate with internal analysts, associates, and third-party advisors to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Support underwriting, financial modeling, and preparation of term sheets.
- Represent Concord Summit Capital at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to build personal and firm-wide visibility.
- Support sponsor outreach campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- 1–5 years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets, structured finance, investment banking, real estate brokerage, or a related advisory environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field required.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred, with a concentration in Finance, Real Estate, or Capital Markets preferred.
- Prior exposure to a debt and/or equity placement team or structured finance group preferred but not required.
