- 3–5+ years of experience (public accounting backgrounds strongly preferred)
- We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to help lead the core accounting operations for a fast-growing, consumer-facing company in the marketing space. This role sits at the center of the close process and partners closely with leadership, FP&A, tax, and external auditors.
- This is a strong transition role for someone coming out of public accounting who wants real ownership, broader exposure, and a clear path beyond just “audit/review cycles.”
- You’ll have direct responsibility for the monthly close, revenue and inventory accounting, cash management, and building scalable processes in a high-growth environment.
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process across multiple entities.
- Oversee revenue recognition, inventory accounting, accruals, and key balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.
- Manage day-to-day treasury activities including AP oversight and cash forecasting.
- Review disbursements and monitor liquidity, working capital, and cash flow.
- Review financial results and prepare variance analysis for management.
- Build supporting schedules for financial statements and management reporting.
- Act as primary liaison with external auditors.
- Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal control documentation.
- Partner with tax advisors on federal, state, and indirect tax filings (sales/use, property, etc.).
- Support financing activities (debt facilities, draws, repayments).
- Drive automation and process improvements as the business scales.
- Handle ad-hoc analysis and special projects tied to growth initiatives.
