What You’ll DoResponsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:
- Analyze financial information to assess current and future financial performance.
- Review loan applications and assess customer risk profiles.
- Prepare credit analyses including financial spreads, repayment and collateral analysis, risk rating, and loan exceptions.
- Collaborate with relationship managers, brokers, and customers to develop credit requests for approval.
- Assist in managing a growing loan portfolio and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct in-person meetings, inspections, and covenant reviews.
- Monitor ticklers and past due reports; work with borrowers to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare annual reviews and modifications for commercial loans.
- Maintain updated credit files and tracking systems for financial statements, appraisals, and renewals.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports for the Board of Directors.
- Assist in the closing of commercial transactions
- Assist management with special projects needed.
- Bachelors (B.A.) degree in Finance, Business Administration and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years directly related to Credit experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and a proactive approach to client relationship management.
- Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish;
Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both - Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
