Pacifica Continental, an international executive search and recruitment consultancy, is representing a well-established financial institution in the retail and community banking sector. Our client is expanding its community lending initiatives and is seeking a Community Lending Loan Officer with CRA exposure to support lending programs focused on inclusive growth and local economic development in Florida.

Role OverviewThe Community Lending Loan Officer will be responsible for originating, structuring, and managing loans that support Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) objectives
, with a strong focus on low- to moderate-income individuals, small businesses, and community development initiatives.
This role combines client-facing lending activities with regulatory awareness, community engagement, and collaboration across internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Originate and manage CRA-eligible consumer, small business, and community development loans.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, local partners, and referral sources.
- Promote lending programs that support affordable housing, financial inclusion, and economic development.
- Ensure compliance with CRA requirements, internal credit policies, and regulatory standards.
- Track loan performance and contribute to reporting and examination readiness.
- Participate in outreach initiatives, community events, and financial education programs.
- Previous experience as a Loan Officer, Community Lending Officer, CRA Loan Officer, or similar role.
- Background in banking, credit unions, community banks, or regulated financial institutions preferred.
- Solid understanding of consumer lending, small business lending, or community development lending.
- Familiarity with CRA concepts, LMI communities, or affordable lending programs is highly valued.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing a lending pipeline.
