Controller​/Director of Finance – Club

Exciting opportunity to join a strong and established club here in Miami. This role will report to the GM and oversee all accounting/finance operations. Great stability and work environment:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with cash management reviews.
• Accounting Operations: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
• Budgeting: Coordinate the development of annual operating and capital budgets in partnership with the General Manager and department heads.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish and maintain policies for auditing, taxes, and financial controls to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise accounting staff.
• Board Liaison: Act as a key liaison to the Finance Committee and, in some cases, the Board of Directors.

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred; a CPA or CMA designation is often preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a private club, hospitality, or resort environment is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
