SUMMARY: The Wealth Services Specialist plays a dual role within the Trust & Wealth Management Department, providing both operational and relationship support to the Director of Trust & Wealth Management and/or Wealth Strategist, while also serving as a Financial Advisor responsible for managing and growing the Bank’s investment and brokerage platform through OSAIC. This position supports the strategic growth of the Bank’s wealth offerings by delivering comprehensive investment solutions, cultivating client relationships, and expanding assets under management (AUM).
The Wealth Services Specialist ensures exceptional client service, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the Bank’s relationship-focused culture. Performs other duties as required.
- Serve as a Financial Advisor under the Bank’s OSAIC platform, delivering investment, brokerage, retirement planning, and wealth management solutions.
- Build, manage, and grow a personal book of business, increasing assets under management and fee-based revenue.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand investment product penetration within the Bank’s client base.
- Partner with retail banking, commercial banking, and private banking teams to identify referral opportunities and deepen client relationships.
- Conduct client needs assessments and develop customized financial plans and investment strategies.
- Maintain consistent client contact through review meetings, portfolio updates, and proactive outreach.
- Represent the Bank and Trust & Wealth Management Department at networking and community events to enhance visibility and growth.
- Support the Director of Trust & Wealth Management and/or Wealth Strategist with client servicing, account administration, and relationship management activities.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, investment proposals, financial planning documents, and review materials.
- Coordinate onboarding of new trust and investment accounts, ensuring complete and compliant documentation.
- Assist with portfolio implementation and monitoring in coordination with internal teams and OSAIC platform resources.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure documentation standards are met.
- Act as internal champion for the Bank’s investment and brokerage offerings through OSAIC.
- Stay current on OSAIC products, platform updates, compliance requirements, and training opportunities.
- Ensure all investment activities are conducted in accordance with FINRA, SEC, OSAIC, and Bank policies and procedures.
- Monitor product performance, trends, and opportunities to enhance the Bank’s investment offerings.
- Maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements, suitability standards, and supervisory procedures.
- Complete required continuing education and licensing requirements.
- Ensure all client interactions, recommendations, and documentation meet compliance standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in wealth management, brokerage, financial advisory, or investment services. Experience working within a bank-based investment platform preferred. Experience with OSAIC or similar broker-dealer platform preferred.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESEffective written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively in a regulated, professional environment.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONSFINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required (or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe). Florida 2-15 Life, Health, and Variable Annuity license required (or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe). CFP®, CRPC®, or other advanced designations a plus.
