Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant to start immediately!

- Perform detailed oversight and review of general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and making necessary adjustments.

- Conduct thorough bank and account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

- Generate and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy for month-end close processes and audit readiness.

- Evaluate budget versus actual expenditures, performing variance analysis for allocated funds.

- Utilize Sage 300 and Excel to manage financial data effectively and efficiently.

- Prepare corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

- Handle sales tax calculations and reporting, maintaining compliance across jurisdictions.

- Create and maintain accurate journal entries to support financial reporting.

- Collaborate with teams to ensure financial processes align with organizational goals.

Requirements

- Proven experience with corporate tax preparation and reporting.

- Expertise in sales tax calculations and compliance.

- Proficiency in preparing corporate tax returns with attention to detail.

- Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger management.

- Hands-on experience with Sage Pro accounting software.

- Advanced Excel skills, including the use of formulas and data analysis.

- Ability to perform variance analysis and evaluate budget vs actual performance.

- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to support accurate financial reporting.
