We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to focus on profitability analysis across our organization. The ideal candidate will excel in evaluating financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making. Operating with a high level of independence, this individual will also play a crucial role in mentoring and supporting the professional development of team members, including Dillon, without direct supervisory responsibilities.
WhatYou Will Do
- Conduct in-depth profitability analysis, including product lines, service offerings, and business units, to identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess the impact of strategic decisions and market changes on profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations that enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations.
- Serve as a mentor to team members, fostering their technical and professional development by sharing expertise and offering guidance on complex analyses.
- Independently manage assigned projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights and recommendations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive benchmarks, and best practices in profitability analysis and financial planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on profitability analysis, cost modeling, or business performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using data to inform strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to non-financial audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members is a plus.
