Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Real Estate Analyst to support multifamily acquisitions, capital expenditure (Cap Ex) planning, and ongoing asset performance analysis. This role is highly analytical and execution-driven, working directly with leadership on underwriting, due diligence, and investor reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced investment environment and understands how deals are structured, capitalized, and optimized.

Key Responsibilities

Acquisitions & Underwriting

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for multifamily acquisitions and developments
  • Underwrite investment opportunities, including stabilized and value-add assets
  • Analyze IRRs, equity multiples, development yields, and sensitivity scenarios
  • Model capital stacks, debt structures, equity waterfalls, and promote structures

Cap Ex & Asset Management Support

  • Evaluate and model renovation budgets and Cap Ex programs
  • Track asset performance against underwriting assumptions
  • Assist in business plan execution and return optimization
  • Conduct market research across Miami-Dade and Broward County
  • Analyze rent comps, absorption trends, and supply pipelines
  • Support legal review, third-party reports, and closing processes
  • Assist with capital call analysis and fund-level reporting
  • Prepare financial summaries for investor presentations
  • Coordinate with Investor Relations on performance updates
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Statistics, or related field
  • 2–4+ years of experience in real estate private equity, acquisitions, or investment analysis
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills (cash flow modeling, waterfalls, sensitivities)
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, capital stacks, IRR hurdles, and promote mechanisms
  • Experience with Argus, CoStar, Real Page, or Yardi preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and communication skills
Ideal Profile
  • Comfortable defending numbers in an investment committee setting
  • Thinks like an owner, not just an analyst
  • Can move fast without breaking the model (literally)
