Asset Management and Acquisitions Analyst

Miami, FL

COFE Properties is a vertically integrated real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition, ownership, and management of industrial properties across various markets in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and the Carolinas. We are headquartered in Miami, FL with regional offices in Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta.

COFE is seeking an Asset Management & Acquisitions Analyst to join the Miami office. The Analyst will be primarily responsible for the ongoing management of COFE’s growing investment portfolio, alongside involvement in the underwriting and execution of new investment opportunities. The Analyst will work closely with senior investment professionals to oversee assets across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluation to structuring, closing, and post-closing operations of the property.

Responsibilities

Asset Management
  • Take ownership of underwritten models and assist in the execution of asset-level business plans
  • Negotiate lease agreements and maintain strong relationships with associated brokers
  • Manage capital improvement projects such as roof replacements, tenant improvements, exterior painting, reconfiguration of suites, and other capital projects
  • Actively manage lender relationships, including compliance, draw requests, and refinancings
  • Prepare and manage property-level budgets, forecasts, and cashflow analyses
  • Work in conjunction with the team to develop and implement value-add strategies across the portfolio
  • Collaborate with property management teams to continually improve property revenues and manage expenses
  • Assist in the disposition process, including coordination with capital market teams and preparation of sale materials
  • Prepare investor communications including quarterly reports and distribution memos.
Acquisitions
  • Lead initial underwriting and financial modeling for new investments
  • Perform asset- and portfolio-level valuation analyses
  • Aid in the drafting of investment materials, reviewing due diligence, and closing of new acquisitions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, construction, or a related field strongly preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, asset management, brokerage, or construction
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Highly motivated with desire to grow within the team over time
  • Familiarity with real estate software (e.g., Argus Enterprise) and databases (e.g., CoStar) is preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required
