Job Title
Credit Support Specialist
Banesco USA is seeking a Credit Support Specialist for our Portfolio Managers unit.
PrimaryJob Duties
- Provides administrative support throughout the pre‑underwriting process and conduct due diligence, and processing tasks as requested, by pulling credit reports, lien searches, loan coding, flood determinations, among others.
- Escalating any issues as necessary in order to obtain satisfactory resolution.
- Ensure that the required, depending on loan type, financial statements, tax returns and other financial information have been requested, collected and/or are on file.
- Create loan in nCino, ensure all necessary documentation in order to make a credit decision is uploaded, and when complete, submit the loan to Credit Underwriting.
- Identify opportunities to improve pre and post approval credit process while understanding internal and external client needs.
- Responds to officer inquiries/requests related to Commercial Credit.
- Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.
- Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
- Education:
High School degree or equivalent experience. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to multi‑task, with strong organization,
- time‑management and prioritizing skills.
- Experience:
Two (2) years of banking experience - Advanced computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.
- Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
- Ability to understand and comprehend instructions, procedures and policies ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
