Randstad is recruiting for a high-performing Project Accountant for a Private Equity and Development company headquartered in Downtown Miami. This role is ideal for a self-starter who excels at problem‑solving in a fast‑paced, exciting environment. This is a direct hire opportunity role offering a base salary ($90k-$100k) + bonus and an excellent benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance covered 100% for the employee!
The company also offers 15 days of PTO plus an additional week paid during the holidays/end of year. Candidates must be able to work onsite on a daily basis Monday‑Friday.
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year.
Shift: First.

8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities- Loan & Funding Management: Own the end-to-end monthly loan draw process, ensuring all documentation reaches lenders by the 15th to maintain critical project liquidity.
- Payment Precision: Audit payment applications for calculation accuracy, proper notarization, and compliant lien waiver documentation.
- Reconciliations: Perform month-end reconciliations for approximately 20 bank accounts and provide proactive warnings to project teams regarding cash balances.
- Full-Cycle AP: Direct the entire accounts payable workflow, from detailed invoice coding and vendor compliance (W9/Insurance) to weekly check signings with Principals.
- Financial Reporting: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, reconcile complex intercompany accounts, and prepare monthly financial updates for ownership.
- 3+ years in a full accounting role within construction, real estate development, property management, mortgage or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Advanced Excel skills and a deep understanding of GAAP.
- Experience with Sage (300 or Intacct) is a major plus.
- Experience with loan draws.
