Job Description

As a Healthcare Tax Senior Manager, you will act as a key advisor to healthcare clients, providing tailored tax compliance, consulting, and strategic planning services that address the unique challenges within the healthcare sector. You will lead multiple engagements, offer technical guidance on complex tax matters, and collaborate with leadership to drive value, efficiency, and growth for our clients. This position focuses on relationship management, team leadership, and industry specialization, while championing innovation and continuous improvement through tax technology initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Advise and service tax clients by resolving complex problems and creating efficiencies to minimize risks through your industry expertise.
  • Oversee the review of multiple engagements while researching and consulting on tax matters to optimize strategies.
  • Lead the tax team in planning, executing, and maintaining client deliverables and ensuring engagement profitability.
  • Act as a business advisor to clients, sharing insights about new opportunities and potential risks.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members towards their professional objectives.
  • Establish and nurture a network for current and future revenue opportunities.
  • Utilize strong knowledge of tax technology and software, including Microsoft Office, for effective client management.
  • Invest in your own and your team's tax technical education, keeping abreast of updates in tax legislation and technology trends.
  • Incorporate tax strategy and transformation into team and client engagements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; a Master's in Taxation or LLM is preferred.
  • CPA or JD is required.
  • 5+ years of public accounting or corporate tax experience, particularly with healthcare clients, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance, planning, and consulting for healthcare organizations.
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements and leading teams effectively.
  • Ability to research and resolve complex tax issues while providing practical business solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
  • Proficient with tax software, tax technology tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment while managing competing priorities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

The salary range for this role reflects various factors, including skills, experience, education, and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate for this position is $95,500.00 - $ per year.
