Miami, FL | Full-time
Schedule:
100% Onsite | Monday–Friday
We’re partnering with a well‑established bank that’s adding a Loan Closing Specialist to its closing department. This is a hands‑on seat for an experienced loan closer who can run point on loan files, keep everything compliant, and push deals across the finish line without chasing chaos.
If you’re the closer who stays two steps ahead—tight checklist, clean docs, constant follow‑ups, and no missed conditions—this role is built for you.
- Own assigned loan files from initial setup through closing and funding.
- Build internal closing checklists by reviewing commitment letters, approvals, and credit conditions.
- Track and clear all due diligence items before a file is approved to close.
- Review attorney/paralegal‑prepared closing packages to confirm they match approvals and bank procedures.
- Maintain accurate electronic closing files and ensure documentation is complete and audit‑ready.
- Coordinate daily with loan officers, counsel, and internal partners to resolve issues and avoid delays.
- Prepare insurance requirement letters and validate insurance documentation prior to funding.
- Complete escrow calculations and amortization schedules using established templates.
- Generate standard loan documentation for unsecured, CD‑secured, UCC, and other assigned loan types.
- Support weekly pipeline/closing reports and assist with department projects and required trainings.
- Prior loan closing experience in a banking environment (commercial and/or secured lending preferred).
- Strong understanding of compliance and bank closing procedures.
- Working knowledge of secured transactions and real‑estate related documentation.
- Extremely organized, detail‑driven, and able to manage multiple active files at once.
- Clear communicator who can follow up firmly and professionally with internal and external parties.
- Comfortable working onsite in a process‑driven role with strict deadlines.
- Stable, structured closing environment with clear procedures and templates.
- High ownership role where your organization and follow‑through directly drive funded deals.
- Strong fit for a closer who wants consistency, accountability, and a professional banking setting.
