Job Description

We are currently looking for a Controller with a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining financial records. This role emphasizes financial accuracy, compliance, meeting multiple deadlines and teamwork for efficient operations. For the advancement of the company, we need someone who can provide full accounting services and innovative financial strategies.

• Team leadership – lead, supervise, and mentor the accounting team, directing department operations.
• Maintaining accounts receivable, documenting bills, and providing supporting documentation.
• Maintaining accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt, and gathering appropriate approvals.
• Daily bank and credit card transaction processing/posting to correct GL and job codes.
• Updating financial records via accounting software.
• Payroll processing.
• Reporting positive and negative variances to upper management.
• Audits.
• Analyzing financial statements and preparing balance sheets.
• Overseeing the preparation of federal, state and local tax returns and keeping informed about tax laws (e.g., annual 1099 processing).
• Organization and maintenance of client files and tax records.
• Assisting with analysis, cash flow and budget preparation.
