We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee financial strategy, performance management, and operational excellence for our North America business. This role owns regional P&L management, forecasting, budgeting, and working capital, while serving as a key strategic partner to the BU President/GM. The ideal candidate brings deep payments expertise and a strong track record of guiding high‑growth, transaction‑driven businesses.

Strategic Financial Leadership
  • Partner with the BU President/GM to shape strategy for growth, profitability, and market expansion across agents, partners, and payment channels.
  • Lead long‑range financial planning, integrating competitive insights (e.g., real-time payments, alternative payment methods, digital wallets) and macroeconomic trends across the payments sector.
  • Evaluate and influence major strategic initiatives—including new payment products, international growth, technology modernization, and risk investments.
Payments FP&A & Performance Management
  • Own the full P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and monthly business reviews with a strong focus on payment‑driven revenue streams.
  • Build and maintain transaction‑level unit economics (authorization yield, cost per transaction, gross margin by payment type, fraud losses, dispute/chargeback ratios).
  • Develop real‑time dashboards and analytics using transaction data, risk scoring outputs, and network performance metrics to drive decision‑making.
Revenue Strategy & Pricing
  • Partner with Product and Commercial teams to design pricing structures across channels and corridors.
  • Lead margin optimization initiatives including interchange analysis, network optimization, and routing strategies such as least‑cost routing.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Represent Finance in key cross‑functional forums including Product Councils, Risk Committees, and Operational Reviews.
  • Ensure alignment and execution across Finance, Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Sales, and Legal.
  • Translate complex payments and financial data into clear insights for non‑financial stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team specializing in payments analytics, revenue operations, and P&L ownership.
  • Build advanced capabilities in predictive analytics, automation, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Foster a culture grounded in clarity, operational rigor, and strategic partnership.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with business and finance stakeholders to drive revenue and profitability growth.
  • Ensure business leaders are equipped with accurate reporting and analytical support while upholding internal controls and compliance.
  • Leverage experience in cross‑border payments, interchange optimization, card network relationships, or regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead the regional finance function with a strong focus on operational excellence.
Role Requirements
  • 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience.
  • 10‑15+ years of global payments experience (merchant acquiring, card issuing, fintech, or financial services).
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or another quantitative field.
  • Advanced credentials such as MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent preferred.
  • Direct experience managing P&L and leading FP&A in a transaction‑driven business.
  • Deep understanding of payments economics, network rules, fraud and risk dynamics, and merchant/issuer revenue models.
  • Familiarity with SQL, BI tools, and modern data environments commonly used in payments (e.g., Snowflake).
