Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Miami - Onsite
Our client is seeking an onsite Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join a growing, fast-paced organization. This high-impact leadership role will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across the company. Partnering closely with executive leadership, the Director of FP&A will deliver strategic financial insights, support key business decisions, and help drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term profitability.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and a proactive, collaborative leadership style.
- Review and monitor financial control activities and processes, including correct application of accounting policies and standards
- Review Trial Balance and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and annual reports, financial statements and other regulatory reporting
- Daily contracts reconciliation checks
- Cash flow management and forecasting
- Assist with preparing the budget, financial forecasts and report variances
- Assisting with producing management reporting to the Executive team
- People Management of the Finance Team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field along with expert knowledge of accounting principles, MBA preferred.
- 8+ years experience working in an effective global finance team, ideally within a growing SaaS company
- An analytical, mathematical and data driven approach, with the ability to use data analytics tools
- Excellent business systems experience (e.g G-Suite, Microsoft, Salesforce, Sage/Intacct)
- Advance Excel, Google Sheet and financial modelling skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with complex and sensitive information under critical time frames
- Proven people management skills, including advising, challenging and influencing stakeholders
- Have a hands on approach and the ability to handle multiple priorities and changing schedules
