Real Estate Analyst

Our client is seeking an Investor Reporting Analyst to join its Investor Reporting team. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with complex commercial real estate loan portfolios, CMBS transactions, and institutional reporting processes within a highly analytical environment.

The Investor Reporting Analyst will be responsible for supporting an assigned portfolio of securitized commercial real estate transactions through detailed analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and documentation review. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and advanced Excel proficiency.

• Prepare monthly investor and servicing reports in accordance with industry reporting standards
• Analyze and interpret Pooling & Servicing Agreements (PSAs), prospectuses, and other transaction documents
• Calculate and reconcile servicing fees, appraisal reductions, realized losses, and other transaction-level reporting metrics
• Research loan and deal-level documentation to support portfolio reporting requirements
• Coordinate with servicers, trustees, and internal departments to resolve reporting discrepancies and outstanding issues
• Perform reconciliations related to advances, expenses, fees, and cash flow reporting
• Support special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related discipline
• Minimum one year of experience in commercial real estate finance, banking, lending, securitization, investor reporting, or a related analytical role preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
