Position Summary
The Product Support Associate supports the Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) team in executing investment strategies and performing key middle‑office functions for the trading desk. The role provides technical support to bankers, resolves DPM‑related inquiries, and helps mitigate operational risk by monitoring and analyzing transactions.
Responsibilities- Handle calls and emails, liaising with internal departments to resolve banker inquiries.
- Support bankers with DPM account opening, liquidation processes, and trading procedures.
- Provide training to Relationship Assistants on Trading and DPM processes as needed.
- Investigate and resolve blocked securities transactions in the middle‑office system (Globus), coordinating with relevant teams.
- Identify issues preventing trade execution, assess exceptions, and advise bankers accordingly.
- Perform daily reconciliation of DPM trading activity and escalates discrepancies.
- Prepare and review monthly Asset In/Asset Out reports to identify required actions.
- Manage and reconcile daily SICAV trade settlements (equities, fixed income, and funds) via Bloomberg.
- Liaise with custodians and brokers to ensure timely settlement and maintain settlement instructions and account details.
- Rebalance discretionary portfolios based on profile changes.
- Execute investment, divestment, and liquidity activities for DPM portfolios.
- Monitor risk profile updates and compliance reports to ensure adherence to guidelines.
- Prepare security position reports upon request.
- Coordinate FX hedging activities and transfers.
- Update investment strategies and maintain system modules and grids.
Bachelor’s Degree Required
5–7 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency.
Specialized Knowledge- Previous experience in the Operations department and thorough understanding of security‑related processes.
- Existing knowledge and experience of the Security Master functionalities.
- Understanding of the Globus system and functionalities.
- Experience using Bloomberg (preferred).
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
