Associate, Non-Self-Sustaining Advisor with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Miami, Florida.
Responsibilities- Work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies.
- Create comprehensive wealth management plans for ultra-high net worth individuals and families predominantly based in Argentina or Uruguay, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments.
- Deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of the firm’s US-based trading authorization and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services.
- Formulate and express investment views for clients’ portfolios, fielding questions in English and Spanish on market developments, and outlining the firm’s investment thesis for the future across all global asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, option derivative securities, foreign currencies, hedge funds, real estate, private equity and bank lending.
- Create asset allocation strategies and holistic wealth advisory recommendations for clients.
- Support existing client relationships, source and develop new business opportunities, and build a strong network of intermediaries in the local Argentina or Uruguay market.
- Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role, or bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
- Prior employment must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) with growing client base and expanding revenues for a project or venture; networking with ultra-high net worth individuals; scheduling meetings with potential investors and building relationships; raising capital from investors in Latin America; managing the operations and logistics of a venture;
financial and cash management; and holding investor calls to update on the status of a venture or investment. - Fluency in Spanish required to communicate with Latin American clients.
- Travel up to 30% of the time to Argentina and Uruguay required to build relationships with clients. All travel costs covered by the firm.
