Position:
Senior Consultant – CFO Advisory
We are searching for a Senior Consultant to join our Financial Advisory Services practice within the CFO Advisory team. Our practice helps CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors improve financial reporting processes to ensure finance adds value to business operations. We serve clients ranging from emerging growth companies to publicly traded firms across industries such as technology, business services, manufacturing, distribution, energy, real estate, hospitality, retail, and private equity.
Responsibilities- Actively participate in projects focused on CFO Advisory service offerings.
- Collaborate with the team on project deliverables and support work.
- Interact directly with managers and partners on client and engagement management matters.
- Strengthen existing client relationships by providing outstanding service.
- Communicate with business owners, executive management, investors, lenders, and other sophisticated parties to ensure delivery of exceptional client service.
- Invest in professional development through training sessions and networking events, both internally and externally.
- Assist with recruiting activities, including campus recruiting and participation in the Employee Referral Bonus Program.
- Demonstrate excellent team skills, a positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
- At least two years of experience in a large accounting firm in audit or financial advisory service lines.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance concepts and ability to use appropriate tools and applications; experience with Power BI and/or Tableau is a plus.
- Exposure to middle‑market financial suite applications (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, Int Acct) and related workflows, automated controls, data consolidation, reporting, and analytics is a plus.
- High motivation, initiative, and positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities.
- Intermediate modeling and Excel skills, with experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and generating data‑driven insights.
- Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and thrive in a team environment.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% and work in a hybrid work environment.
- Compensation range: $86,660 to $164,300, dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
