Job OverviewThe Private Equity Strategies Global Fund Finance group is responsible for fund performance reporting and all aspects of accounting related to Blackstone’s multi‑asset private equity funds. The group’s main responsibilities include daily accounting, financial reporting, and limited partner reporting for the funds.
Key Responsibilities- Review daily cash and investment activity.
- Monitor and report on credit facility activity.
- Review journal entries and analyze general ledger accounts.
- Coordinate capital calls and distributions.
- Review waterfall calculations.
- Review management fee calculations and billing statements.
- Prepare quarterly and audited annual reports, including financial disclosures.
- Prepare quarterly capital account statements.
- Prepare quarterly corporate reporting package.
- Respond to investor inquiries.
- Manage all regulatory reporting filings such as Form PF and AIFMD.
- Partner with tax compliance to ensure accurate data completeness.
- Assist with special projects and internal ad hoc requests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA / CPA Candidate.
- 3+ years of related experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
- Works effectively in a fast‑paced professional environment and handles multiple projects.
- Build productive working relationships across various departments with individuals at different experience levels.
- Highly motivated and self‑starter.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel required.
- Investran experience preferred.
Expected annual base salary range: $110,000 - $150,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. Additional compensation and benefits include comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, FSA), paid time off, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
