Position Overview
We are hiring a Manager for our CFO Accounting Advisory practice within the Financial Accounting Advisory team. The role involves consulting CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors to enhance financial reporting processes and drive business performance.
Responsibilities- Participate in projects focused on GAAP Advisory, Business Analytics, Decision Support, Transaction Support, Program/Project Management.
- Supervise, develop, and train staff on engagements.
- Actively collaborate with the team on projects, handling hands‑on work and rolling up sleeves.
- Engage with senior managers and partners on client and engagement management matters.
- Strengthen existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities through outstanding client service.
- Communicate with business owners, executive management, investors, lenders, and other sophisticated parties to ensure delivery of exceptional client service.
- Participate in professional development through training, networking events, and internal initiatives.
- Assist with recruiting activities, including campus recruiting and employee referral program.
- Demonstrate strong team skills, a positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
- 6+ years of experience in a large accounting firm in audit, financial advisory service line.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Certified public accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential.
- Current GAAP advisory knowledge and application.
- Exposure to Middle‑Market financial suites such as Quick Books, Net Suite, Int Acct, etc., and their functionalities.
- Proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau is a plus.
- Advanced modeling and Excel skills, ability to conduct complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analyses to management.
- Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience leading and driving initiatives within client engagements.
- Comfortable interacting with senior‑level client personnel and supporting executive briefings.
- Travel up to 25% and ability to work in a hybrid work environment.
Salary range: $124,910 to $236,800, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
