Asset & Wealth Management - Miami - Associate, Non-Self-Sustaining Advisor

Job Duties

Associate, Non‑Self‑Sustaining Advisor with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Miami, Florida. Support existing client relationships and source and develop new business opportunities and a strong network of intermediaries in the Latin America market. Formulate and express investment views for clients’ portfolios, field clients’ questions about market events, and outline the firm’s investment thesis for the future, which encompasses all global asset classes including public equities, fixed income, options, derivatives, foreign currencies, hedge funds, real estate, private equity and bank lending.

Create comprehensive wealth‑management plans for ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals and families primarily in Latin America, as well as select institutions such as foundations and endowments. Work one‑on‑one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies. Deliver an unparalleled investment platform that includes the full product and service offerings of the firm’s U.S.‑based trading authorization and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services.

Create asset‑allocation strategies and holistic wealth‑advisory recommendations to clients.

Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) in the job offered or a related role.

• Oversee capital and execute sophisticated investment strategies across global markets
• Develop and implement comprehensive investment strategies through in‑depth market analysis and financial modeling
• Network with investors, schedule strategic meetings, and build trusted relationships
• Financial and cash management
• Hold investor calls to update on the status of capital markets and investments

Travel up to 30% of the time to Latin America is required to build and maintain client relationships. All travel costs are covered by the firm.
