Private Equity Vice President​/Principal - Business Services

A leading lower middle market private equity investment platform is seeking an experienced Vice President / Principal to join its investment team in Miami. This is an opportunity for a proven private equity professional to join a growing firm, play a key role in building the platform, and have a meaningful path toward partnership.

The firm focuses on investments within business services and specialty manufacturing
, with an active portfolio and significant capital deployed across its investments. The team is currently scaling its investment capabilities and is looking for someone who can step in immediately and make an impact across sourcing, execution, and portfolio management.

The platform is an emerging lower middle market private equity investor that has deployed $200M+ of capital and is now scaling from its independent sponsor roots into a fully established investment platform with a targeted fund size of $250–$350M
. The firm is in a strong deployment phase with an active pipeline and upcoming transactions, focused on business services and specialty manufacturing

• Lead and support investment activities across the full deal lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio management
• Evaluate investment opportunities and develop investment theses within business services and manufacturing sectors
• Work closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and firm growth
• Play a key role in building and expanding the investment platform

• Current VP, Principal, or equivalent at a private equity firm
• 7–8+ years of direct private equity investment experience
• Strong experience executing lower middle market transactions preferred
• Proven ability to independently evaluate businesses and drive investment processes
• Experience with in business services, specialty manufacturing, or similar sectors preferred
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a growing investment platform
• Candidates from larger funds should have demonstrated hands‑on investing experience and the ability to operate in a lean, execution-focused environment
