Responsibilities
  • Grow, deepen, and retain strong relationships with a mass affluent book of business by proactively managing and addressing banking needs with an advice‑based approach.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and in‑depth knowledge of banking and credit products, offerings, and processes to fluently explain solutions to clients and act as a liaison with internal partners in small business, wealth, commercial, and lending.
  • Acquire, retain, and deepen relationships with new mass affluent clients by converting referrals, leads, and outbound prospecting.
  • Proactively engage in client outreach (phone, email, appointments, and other means) and regularly meet with clients to conduct needs‑based conversations, review and analyze financial information, suggest appropriate solutions or service options, and coordinate introductions or interactions with appropriate partners.
  • Deliver excellent client service, review moderately complex client concerns, and appropriately escalates banking‑related issues or risks.
  • Adhere to all relevant Retail/Wealth policies, procedures, FINRA, and regulatory banking requirements.
  • Engage in conversations with clients about loan products and facilitate application intake while maintaining an active registration status with NMLS.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with partners through ongoing meetings and collaboration to identify areas for relationship deepening in wealth, commercial, small business, lending, and other relevant areas.
  • Partner regularly with the Wealth Financial Advisor for warm referrals and joint pipeline review meetings to prepare for future client interactions.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to bank staff on effective methods to articulate the program’s value and generate Premier referrals for mass affluent clients.
  • Understand and adhere to regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth policies and procedures.
  • Implement TD’s Client Identification Program (CIP) by collecting and verifying required customer identification information and performing client Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence as outlined in the Business Unit AML procedures.
  • Deliver the TD Premier program to eligible clients, acting as an educator and advisor.
  • Perform routine and multi‑step customer transactions, maintaining a high level of service.
  • Establish and nurture client relationships through proactive outreach, ongoing engagement, consistent product knowledge, active listening, and advice‑based solutions or partner referrals.
  • Utilize client relationship tools to engage in needs‑based conversations, identify solutions, and provide proactive advice.
  • Educate clients and prospective clients on current promotions, campaigns, tools, and resources to make banking easier and more convenient.
  • Support the bank’s Customer Service Strategy and provide end‑to‑end advice, building trust with educational content and tools, providing consultative support, and advocating for clients with proactive insights and recommendations.
  • Consider the impact of decisions on the well‑being of TD, its clients, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a single point of contact to clients, exploring various products or services and connecting them with partners as needed.
  • Champion compliance, review the team against regulations, and maintain operational excellence within the location.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and reflects client/business intentions in accordance with relevant rules and regulations.
  • Engage in conversations with clients regarding loan applications, prepare documents, and conduct loan closings.
  • Meet individual and store performance metrics.
  • Actively collaborate with team members, partner businesses, and internal stakeholders to achieve mutual goals.
  • Maintain high levels of organization, attention to detail, and self‑motivation, while embracing change and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required;
    Bachelor’s or university degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of financial or banking experience.
