Assistant Fund Controller

Must have direct experience in a private equity company

• Review Fund NAV packages, quarterly financial statements, notes disclosures, and supporting schedules in coordination with the fund administrator.
• Review partner capital statements in coordination with the fund administrator.
• Support annual fund audits, gathering supporting documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• Prepare management fee and carried interest waterfall calculations for review, in coordination with the fund administrator.

• Assist with quarterly tax estimates and filings in coordination with the tax team and external tax advisors.

• Support fund liquidity management, including preparation of borrowing requests, credit facility paydowns, day-to-day funding requirements, and investor capital call and distribution notices.

• Compile and analyze fund financial data and operating metrics for recurring and ad-hoc management reporting, including quarterly investor letters.
• Support the Investor Relations team with recurring and ad-hoc investor reporting, due diligence questionnaires, and fundraising-related requests.

• 6–7 years' experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting with a track record of strong performance.
• Ideally a blend of Big 4 / public accounting, in-house private fund accounting, and/or fund administrator experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher; CPA preferred.

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with fund accounting and treasury systems a plus.
• Proven problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to understand, evaluate, and improve processes.
