- Take full financial ownership of the US operations, with a total overview across the entities and business units
- Full financial accounting oversight- month end close, journal entries and general ledger maintenance, and ensuring accurate compilation and reporting of financial data
- Act as trusted financial advisor to US management and HQ
- Support post-merger integration and ongoing financial coordination
- Responsible for the preparation and delivery of timely and accurate monthly and annual group financial reporting in accordance with group accounting standards. Scope includes financial statements, profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis, with strict adherence to applicable state, federal, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
- Identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas and proactively report these to US Management and HQ
- Act as the financial bridge between the US organization and HQ
- Maintain close contact with local management teams to support decision-making and financial alignment
- Collaborate closely with operations, HR and commercial teams of the two operating business units
- Strong financial leadership with hands‑on ownership mentality
- Ability to operate independently while working within an international group structure
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and compliance awareness
- Excellent communication skills, able to interface with both local and international stakeholders
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 7-10+ years of relevant finance experience, ideally within in transport, logistics, or supply chain environments
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate accounting
- Experience working in an internationally managed organization with group reporting and multi-entity structures is highly preferred
