Position Overview
The Financial Controller will be directly reporting to the Business and Operations Manager and will be responsible for expenses controlling, budget construction and administrative topics.
Function Responsibilities1. EXPENSES FOLLOW UP
- Invoices treatment – Validate and control the codification of the expenses in My Easy Order and Share.
- Coordinate with suppliers, Area Sales Managers and Accounting department for compliance of the House in terms of invoice treatment.
- Monitor expenses follow up – Update the expenses follow up files daily and ensure budget respect and achievement by challenging Area Sales Managers and providing visibility to Management.
- Responsible for monthly accruals – Monitor expenses status and codes in My Easy Order; compile accrual files with Area Sales Manager (commissions and over investment) and ensure budget achievement.
- Analysis of the monthly closing – P&L construction and analysis of closing vs Budget / YTD and YTG vision; reconciliation of software data and internal follow ups.
- Responsible for budget templates – Update and improve templates for each budget revision (Capex, Beauty Consultant, Office Charges).
- Participate in budget strategy – Consolidate Area Sales Manager version, attend budget meetings with Area Sales Manager and Management, provide input on the financial strategy of the region.
- Coordinate mensualisation of the budget – Provide efficient templates to Area Sales Managers and challenge them.
- Manage telecommunication, internet, computer, office supplies deals and associated expenses.
- Ensure registration of all fragrances in local markets by consolidating client needs and coordinating with the Sanitary registration department.
- Minimum 3 years in management controlling in luxury goods or fragrance & beauty (plus).
- Fluency in English and Spanish required;
French is a plus. - Excellent computer and software skills – proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and diplomacy: collaborate well with others, work as a team, and be autonomous.
- Proactive – able to find solutions and provide recommendations.
- Strong interest in fragrances & beauty and Hermes core values.
