Overview
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a mid-level Associate in the Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice. They can be based in our Miami, DC, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix or Dallas office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Responsibilities& Expectations
Candidates must be willing to take on significant responsibility, have a strong commitment to client service and be diligent, proactive and team-oriented. Candidates must be admitted to or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
Qualifications- Candidates will have between 3 and 5 years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience (particularly in the areas of banking, money services businesses, payment systems, Fin Tech firms).
- Experience with licensing/chartering, and knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, sanctions, third-party risk management, and consumer compliance).
- Enforcement experience is a plus.
- Strong academic background and excellent legal research, analysis and writing skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Expected Pay Range: $260,000 - $365,000 per year determined based upon education, experience, job-related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data.
