The Need
We're seeking a Director of Finance (FP&A) to lead MyPrize's financial planning and strategic finance function.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer
, this is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing consumer technology companies where you will build the financial infrastructure, forecasting processes, and analytical capabilities that enable executive decision making and support the company's next stage of growth.
As the Director of Finance (FP&A) at MyPrize, you'll own the company's financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic finance functions while partnering closely with the COO and executive leadership.
You'll develop financial models, evaluate company performance, monitor key operating metrics, and provide actionable recommendations that support Product, Marketing, Operations, Customer Operations, Risk & Compliance, and Corporate Functions.
You'll play a central role in helping MyPrize scale responsibly by transforming financial and operational data into strategic insights that drive business decisions across the organization.
What you bring to My Prize- 5+ years of experience in Strategic Finance or FP&A at a high-growth technology company, ideally supporting executive leadership during periods of rapid scale.
- Experience building sophisticated financial models, operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and executive reporting.
- Strong understanding of SaaS, gaming, fintech, marketplaces, or consumer technology business models and operating metrics.
- Excellent communicator capable of translating complex financial information into actionable business recommendations.
- Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and sound business judgment.
- Proven ability to build scalable finance processes within rapidly growing organizations.
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced startup environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
- Regular user of modern AI and LLM productivity tools to accelerate financial modeling, research, reporting, documentation, and operational efficiency.
- Experience in gaming, fintech, marketplaces, or consumer technology.
- Experience with SQL, BI platforms, Net Suite, Pigment, Adaptive Planning, or similar FP&A tooling.
- We generally prefer candidates who have built finance functions within high-growth technology companies rather than large public enterprises or traditional investment banking environments.
