Analyst - Direct Lending

Rialto Capital is a real estate-focused investment manager engaged in direct lending, CMBS, and special situations investing.

• analyzing property operating performance through review of operating statements, rent rolls and leases
• evaluating and abstracting loan documents
• negotiating complex transactions
• researching real estate markets throughout the U.S. and communicating with brokers
• preparing valuation and cash flow analysis on projected loan resolutions including DCF/IRR/NPV scenarios
• underwriting potential new investment opportunities in CMBS, equity recapitalizations, asset/portfolio acquisitions, and mezzanine/preferred equity
• underwriting performing loan requests for reserve disbursements, lease approvals, and loan extensions in compliance with loan documents
• preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for the executive team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
• 0-2 years of real estate experience including underwriting and due diligence
• strong understanding of loan documents
• broad commercial real estate experience across multiple property types is a plus
