Director of Finance & Accounting

This role is ideal for a hands‑on finance leader who wants the autonomy to build a U.S. finance function while serving as a direct strategic partner to executive leadership. You’ll have broad exposure across accounting, treasury, investments, and cross-border operations.

Salary: $,000 + bonus up to 100%
Coconut Grove, FL – Fully in office

• Build and shape the U.S. finance function with full ownership of its processes, controls, systems, and reporting.
• Work directly with the CEO as the senior finance partner for the U.S. business.
• Gain visibility across real estate, private equity, investments, transactions, and entity structuring.
• Lead a meaningful cross-border finance transition in partnership with an established UK finance team.
• Create a resilient, self‑sufficient U.S. operation rather than simply maintaining existing processes.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy while benefiting from external accounting, tax, legal, and advisory support.
• Influence the selection and implementation of financial systems and tools.
• Expand your scope across technical accounting, budgeting, treasury, banking, compliance, and executive decision support.
• Join an international organization with operations across the U.S., UK, and Europe.
• Establish a highly visible finance platform designed to support the continued development of the U.S. business.

• Own accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, controls, and financial operations for all U.S. entities.
• Prepare financial statements and management reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Build and document scalable U.S. finance processes, policies, systems, and internal controls.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, treasury activity, banking relationships, and investment account reporting.
• Direct external accounting firms, auditors, CPAs, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
• Advise the CEO on financial analysis, investments, transactions, due diligence, and entity structuring.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of progressive accounting experience with end‑to‑end ownership of accounting and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, multi‑entity reporting, and finance function development.
• Experience collaborating with international finance teams and supporting group consolidation.
