Aboutthe Role
Business development is the engine of our firm. Every mandate we win starts with the work this seat supports: identifying the right companies, researching them, and getting our senior bankers in the room.
This is an entry-level role. No banking experience is required. We will train you on our full business development system, which we have spent years building and consider a core competitive advantage. What we cannot train is motivation. We are looking for someone hungry, competitive, and relentless about details, who wants to earn a long-term seat in technology investment banking.
Qualifications- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and market data and generate clear insights.
- Experience conducting market research and industry analysis, ideally within technology, software, or financial services.
- Knowledge of finance concepts and comfort with transaction-related materials, financial metrics, and valuation basics.
- Ability to create and deliver professional presentations, including pitch decks and client-facing materials.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal collaboration and external client interactions.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM or pipeline management tools; experience with artificial intelligence tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; relevant internships or experience in investment banking, consulting, or corporate development preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
- Demonstrated interest in the technology and software ecosystem and willingness to learn continuously.
