Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor s degree. A minimum of four years of administrative experience, to include supervisory experience is required. Additional related administrative experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.

The Choice Neighborhood Implementation Specialist supports the CNI Director within the Planning and Development Division of the Miami-Dade County Housing and Community Development Department in advancing the County's Choice Neighborhoods Initiative efforts. This position plays a critical role in implementing neighborhood revitalization strategies that integrate public housing redevelopment, affordable housing preservation and production, supportive services coordination and community driven transformation planning.

The Housing CNI Specialist ensures compliance with federal, state and County requirements while supporting cross-sector partnerships that promote equitable housing opportunities and sustainable community development throughout Miami-Dade County.

Pursuant to the authority in Chapter 8B of the Code of Miami-Dade County, when there is a declared state of emergency issued for any portion of Miami-Dade County, all employees of the Housing and Community Development Department will be required to adhere to directives from the Mayor or the Mayor's designee to report to work and perform all duties assigned during a declared state of emergency.
