The Beauty Advisor is a part-time, on-site role located in Miami, FL, focused on delivering personalized, high-quality service to clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting clients, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products across makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance categories. The Beauty Advisor demonstrates and applies products, provides mini consultations, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of new launches, trends, and brand offerings. The role also involves achieving retail sales goals, handling transactions, restocking and organizing displays, and ensuring store cleanliness and visual standards.

Beauty Advisors collaborate with team members to create an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere that reflects Sephora's values and enhances the overall client experience.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and provide tailored beauty recommendations.
• Retail sales experience, including meeting sales targets, handling point-of-sale systems, and promoting products and services.
• Cosmetology and skin care knowledge, with the ability to perform basic product applications and explain skincare routines and techniques.
• Product knowledge across makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance, including ingredients, benefits, and usage guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, and holidays), and adapt to a fast-paced retail setting.
• Passion for beauty, commitment to inclusive client experiences, and openness to continuous learning and training.
• Prior experience in beauty retail or a related field is beneficial; relevant certifications in cosmetology or skincare are a plus.
