DescriptionThe Echocardiography Technologist will understand all aspects of cardiac disease and perform a variety of echocardiogram studies with accuracy and analytical skill in accordance with BHSF and IAC standards. The technologist is responsible for operating laboratory equipment, performing and communicating results to other healthcare providers, and maintaining the highest standards of medical ethics.
Estimated pay: $32.12 - $44.97 per hour, depending on experience.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- Graduate from an accredited allied health program, preferably with a specialty track in cardiovascular ultrasonography
- Must obtain either ARDMS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or CCI – Registered Cardiac Sonographer within 1 year of employment
- Current BLS certification by the American Heart Association
