The Medical Staff Coordinator supports medical staff committees and manages credentialing and re-credentialing processes for Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals. Responsibilities include processing initial and reappointment applications in compliance with policies, bylaws, and regulatory standards, ensuring only qualified practitioners provide care. The role involves participating in projects initiated by the medical staff. The estimated pay range is $19.73 - $23.87 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Certification, GED, Training, or Experience

Additional Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• NAMSS certification preferred, with an expectation to obtain within 3 years of employment
• At least 3 years of experience in hospital or managed care credentialing
• Knowledge of modern office equipment and database/computer literacy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service, organization, planning, and time management skills

Minimum required experience: 3 years.
