Overview

Operations Manager — Physician Practice, Marcus Neuro Institute, full-time, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Join Baptist Health in this role focused on a physician practice setting.

• Responsible for strategic thinking, tactical action, and operational decision-making to fulfill the mission of the department and organization.
• Act as a cross-functional leader overseeing patient flow across multiple service lines, departments, and sites.
• Develops, interprets, and applies departmental policies and standardized workflows.
• Implement process changes identified through Revenue Cycle processes or regulatory audits.
• Anticipate and pursue research of business needs to develop, plan, and implement proactive solutions.
• Manage initiatives supporting patient satisfaction standards and objectives.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic planning; oversee budgetary controls in partnership with management and Finance.
• Practice the Baptist Health system philosophy of service excellence in providing professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients of all ages and community members.

• Bachelor’s Degree (Healthcare preferred) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare leadership.
• Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) preferred.
• Leadership experience in managing multiple departments, a call center-type environment, or fast-paced environments with tight timelines.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a minimum of 6 years’ experience in healthcare leadership.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on problem resolution.
• Ability to multitask, especially during stressful situations.
• Professional, detail-oriented team player.
• Understanding of performance improvement concepts.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and EMR applications.
• Bilingual:
  English;
  Spanish or Creole.
