Company Description
SOS PHYSIO is seeking a hardworking and diligent Physical Therapist to help improve patient mobility, relieve pain and prevent or lessen the physical disabilities of patients. As a Physical Therapist, you will be working alongside experienced manual therapists in a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide patients with the ability to exercise, receive instruction and experience therapeutic methods such as ART, manual therapy, HVLA manipulation, electrical stimulation, mechanical traction and ultrasound.
A large part of your job as a Physical Therapist is to help make therapy sessions more productive, engaging and generally less stressful for both the patient and the physical therapist. - Perform evaluations and joint mobilization techniques.
- Record patient responses to treatments and report outcomes alongside the head physical therapist.
- Keep the treatment area clean and organized, and instruct, motivate, safeguard and assist patients as they practice exercises and functional activities.
- Prepare for each patient’s therapy.
- Integrate a sports medicine approach to treatment (ART, Manual Therapy).
- Administer sensory integration, therapeutic activities and self‑care techniques.
- Be familiar with the Plan of Care set by the physical therapist and relay concerns if needed.
- Administer balance and muscle strength tests.
- Implement specific therapeutic activities for patients.
- Work with all categories of patients, including those with orthopedic or neurological disorders, and communicate effectively with coworkers, patients and families.
- Assist in lifting, pulling, gait, massage and/or pushing patients.
- Graduate from an accredited PT school and licensed.
- Professional and ethical team player.
- Basic knowledge of all modalities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassionate, caring, and motivated to help patients achieve maximum physical potential and independence.

Salary: $87,000 – $120,000
