Director of Nursing (DON) – LHANC Home Health
LHANC Home Health, owned and operated by Little Havana Activities & Nutrition Centers of Dade County, Inc., is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and support high-quality care for our community across South Florida.
Position Summary:The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall clinical oversight, supervision, and management of home health services, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while promoting excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing and clinical staff
- Oversee patient care planning, coordination, and quality assurance
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, AHCA, and regulatory standards
- Monitor clinical performance, documentation, and outcomes
- Support staff development, training, and performance management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient-centered care
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2–3 years of home health leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of home health regulations and accreditation standards
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
