The Practice Manager – Wound Care Services plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and growth of a physician‑led wound care practice serving skilled nursing, long‑term care, and post‑acute facilities. This role acts as the operational bridge between providers, facilities, billing, credentialing, recruiting, marketing, and vendors.

Position SummaryThe Practice Manager – Wound Care Services oversees operational, administrative, and compliance functions for a multi‑provider wound care practice serving SNFs, LTCs, and post‑acute facilities. This role supports providers, facilities, billing, credentialing, recruiting, marketing, and vendors to ensure efficient operations, timely reimbursement, and territory‑level growth.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee billing and coding coordination to ensure timely wound care claim submission and minimal backlog
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing operational needs of physicians and APPs
- Coordinate with credentialing on payer enrollment (Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs), PECOS, and CAQH
- Track provider licensing, malpractice insurance, and compliance documentation
- Support territory operations and marketing progress, including facility onboarding and provider coverage
- Serve as an operational point of contact for SNFs/LTC facilities and providers
- Manage wound care supply vendors, shipments, and cost negotiations
- 3+ years of healthcare practice management or operations experience
- Experience supporting SNF/LTC or post‑acute care environments
- Knowledge of medical billing workflows and payer enrollment processes
- Experience supporting multi‑state or multi‑territory practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow‑through skills
- Ability to work full‑time in an in‑office setting
