DescriptionThe Manager, Medical Equipment Planner & Project Logistics is responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, procurement coordination, and implementation oversight of medical and clinical equipment across a multi‑hospital health system. This role supports a $3B capital construction portfolio and manages approximately $50M annually in medical equipment planning and purchases across acute care hospitals, outpatient facilities, and specialty centers. The position manages medical equipment planning efforts from concept through activation, ensuring alignment with clinical workflows, system standards, capital budgets, and long‑range strategic initiatives.
The role serves as a key liaison between clinical leadership, design teams, construction managers, vendors, supply chain, IT, biomed, and finance to deliver clinically effective, financially responsible, and operationally ready healthcare environments. Additional Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Healthcare Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience managing large healthcare equipment budgets and complex projects within multi‑facility health systems.
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare design, construction, and clinical workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior clinical and executive stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and project management tools; experience with equipment planning software preferred.
- Certified Equipment Planner (CEP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent preferred.
