Medical Specialist II - Ophthalmology - South Florida

Role Summary

The Medical Specialist II will report to the Regional Director and will be responsible for daily development and management of relationships with Retina Specialists and other customer accounts in the assigned territory to grow revenues and consistently deliver product goals. The primary focus of this role is on the approved indications related to eye conditions. The Medical Specialist II will provide technical and clinical product knowledge and support and will effectively utilize Regeneron marketing and operations resources to enhance productivity and deliver optimal customer satisfaction.

• Develop and manage relationships with Retina Specialists and other customer accounts in the South Florida territory to grow revenues and meet product goals.
• Provide technical and clinical product knowledge and support for Regeneron medicines addressing eye conditions.
• Leverage Regeneron marketing and operations resources to maximize productivity and deliver optimal customer satisfaction.

• Required: BA/BS in science or business (master’s degree a plus)
• Required: A minimum of 5 years’ specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
• Required: Residency in the territory is required
• Preferred: Ophthalmology and/or Buy & Bill with relevant retina experience
• Preferred: Experience with reimbursement programs, government programs, managed care, formulary and contract negotiation
