Miami Jewish Health is one of the largest providers of healthcare and living options for aging adults in the Southeast. Our five‑star rated skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility is located on a beautiful 20‑plus acre campus just north of mid‑town Miami. We serve approximately 1,200 patients and residents each year, providing a full range of long‑term care, treatment, support, and post‑hospitalization services.

Job Summary

The Clinical Services Coordinator supports Clinical Services and Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) by assisting with audits, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and monitoring clinical initiatives. The role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, promotes best practices, and contributes to continuous quality improvement across all clinical programs.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and conducting internal clinical audits.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze audit data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare audit reports and follow‑up documentation.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to develop and implement PIPs.
  • Track progress and outcomes of PIPs, ensuring timely completion and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance with clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze data to measure effectiveness of clinical interventions.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and leadership for quality‑related activities.
  • Provide education and support to staff regarding audit findings and improvement strategies.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.
Job Requirements Education
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years in a clinical or quality assurance role.
  • Experience with audits, compliance, and performance improvement processes.
Licenses/Certifications
  • RN license preferred.
Abilities Required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental principles, practices, and standards related to clinical care, quality assurance, performance improvement, and risk management.
  • Ability to evaluate, analyze, prepare, and present reports using appropriate computer software tools.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
  • Proficiency in navigating and utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) for documentation and data analysis.
  • Skilled in analyzing databases and other information sources to support decision‑making.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including word‑processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, appropriate prioritization, and effective time‑management skills.
  • Prior knowledge or experience with patient safety programs and Joint Commission accreditation process preferred.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and respond promptly in emergency situations.
  • Collaborative team player who builds positive working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains a high standard of ethical and professional conduct.
