"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Trauma Operating Room Nurse to join a premier 417-bed facility in West Miami-Dade County. As a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center and a verified Burn Center, the hospital manages some of the region's most complex cases. Compensation & Shift Details

• Hourly Rate: $39.57 - $53.34 (commensurate with experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: Evaluated on a case-by-case basis
• Schedule: Full-Time Nights with rotating weekends
• Location Requirement: Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert intraoperative nursing care for trauma, burn, and emergency surgical cases
• Maintain readiness for Level I trauma activations, ensuring all equipment and instrumentation are prepared for immediate use
• Advocate for patients during surgery, coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary trauma team
• Adhere to strict policies and procedures while managing the sterile environment and surgical counts

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Trauma OR experience in an acute care setting; general OR experience without trauma/acute care focus will not be considered
• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Licensure: Current Florida RN License or recognized Compact Licensure
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA) - required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS (AHA) - required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire
