Phlebotomist - PRN

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Royal Palm Beach, FL. This is a casual per diem position with hours varying Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm and weekends as needed.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Phlebotomy certification.
• Six months or more of phlebotomy experience.

• Phlebotomy certification or a completed training program from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience).
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
